A No Impact Home-Based Business Permit is a type of local business license that allows you to operate a small business from your home, as long as it doesn’t negatively affect your residential neighborhood.

Residents of Annville Township may keep a limited number of backyard chickens by completing a Chicken Registration Form. Up to four (4) hens are permitted on lots that are at least 40 feet wide, provided the property is not located in the Town Center District. Each chicken must have access to a properly sized coop and run, which must be maintained in a clean and secure condition and located at least 25 feet from neighboring dwellings. Roosters are not permitted. Property owners — or tenants with written landlord permission — must submit the registration form to the Township before keeping chickens on their property.
