Open Records

Annville Township is committed to transparency and open government in accordance with Pennsylvania’s Right-to-Know Law. Residents and members of the public have the right to request access to public records maintained by the Township. Information on how to submit a Right-to-Know request, along with contact details for the Open Records Officer, can be found below.

Annville Township public records are available in accordance with Act 3 of 2008, the Right to Know Law.

Annville Township will fulfill a request for records within five business days from the date the request is received, or provide written notice that the request is being reviewed or that it has been denied.

Reasonable fees as recommended by the Pennsylvania Office of Open Records may be levied for postage, duplication, certification, conversion of public records to paper, and certification of documents.

If a written request is denied, the requester may appeal to the Office of Open Records within 15 business days of the mailing date of the Township’s response denying the records. Appeals should be mailed to the Office of Open Records, 333 Market Street, 16th Floor, Harrisburg, PA, 17101-2234. Additional information regarding an appeal is available at openrecords.state.pa.us.
