Sewer

Certified Payments is a third-party service that allows residents to pay online using a credit/debit card or electronic check.

  1. You will receive a township bill
  2. Go to the certified payments portal (above)
  3. Enter your bureau code or account info – will be on your bill
  4. Enter your billing details and payment
  5. Submit your order and you will get a Payment ID you can save for your records

Certified Payments has a Review Payment History feature where you can search by name and last digits of your card or account number. Visit their FAQ page for more info.

Sewer rental rates are part of the township’s sewer rate policy and are updated via the annual fee schedule and ordinances adopted by the Board of Commissioners.

  • If your quarterly water consumption is 10,000 gallons or less, you will pay the quarterly minimum.
  • If you use more than 10,000 gallons in a quarter, an additional usage amount is charged for every extra 1,000 gallons.

To notify the Authority of a change in sewer use for a property please download and submit an Affidavit Form to info@annvilletwp.com.


For any construction, repair, or connection to the sewer system:

  • A plumbing permit may be required before beginning work that connects to or alters sewer lines on your property.
  • Permits are issued through the Annville Township Office and may require a licensed plumber.
  • Contact the Township Office at 717-867-4476 for details about permits and inspection requirements.
